The death toll of tribal fighting between Arab and non-Arab tribes in El-Geneina , the capital of West Darfur state , rose to 83 on Sunday..
However, West Darfur State Doctors Committee said in a statement, on Sunday, that tribal violence which continued for the second day in a row in El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, left 83 people dead and 160 others injured.
The doctors’ committee indicated that the medical teams are making continuous efforts to provide medical care to the wounded and injured people.
The committee urged medical personnel to reach the centers housing the wounded people, calling on the state government to provide security to health institutions.
