December 10, 2020 (Khartoum) Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said Wednesday, that after passage of a year of the transitional government in Sudan, complete disability appeared and the suffering of Sudanese people increased.

Addressing a gathering of military forces at the conclusion of the “Taharqa 4” military exercises , Alburhan affirmed that the Transitional Partners Council does not have any powers, and its presence does not nullify role of the Legislative Council.

Al-Burhan said: “We achieved peace as one of the most important goals of the revolution in Sudan,” reiterating the call to non-signatory movements of Abdel Wahid Nour and Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu, to join the peace procession.

He renewed the covenant that the army would remain the first people’s forces in protecting its borders and the revolution, stressing the need to build a national army, noting that armed movements are welcomed to join the Sudanese army
