December 4, 2020 The administration of Nyala University has decided to suspend studies in the university’s colleges based on the recommendation of the deans ’council in an emergency meeting held on Friday in Nyala.
The acting Vice Chancellor of Nyala University, Dr. Mahmoud Adam Daoud, issued a decision on Friday, suspending studies for all university college students from December 4, 2020, to January 10, 2021.
According to Nyala University media, the decision excluded students who are currently sitting for exams, taking into account strict health requirements and measures, and the decision also excluded post-graduate students and final year students in all colleges.
The move came according to the health emergency order No.13 for the year 2020 , issued by the acting governor of South Darfur State, Hamid Attijani Hanoun.
