November 30, 2020 (Khartoum) On Sunday, the Sudanese Supreme Emergency Committee announced strict health measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, in light of the escalating number of infections with the beginning of the second wave of the pandemic.
The epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health recorded, on Wednesday and Thursday, more than 500 new cases of the virus within 48 hours.
According to a press statement, the committee has taken a number of decisions, the most important of which is tightening health measures and reducing employees in government departments and private institutions to 50% and 70% respectively.
The decision also obligated employees and those dealing with government agencies, companies and markets to wear masks, and provide hand disinfection in all government facilities.
According to the statement, the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the tightening of procedures for travelers and those coming to the country.
