November 15, 2020 (Khartoum) The National Umma Party demanded that it be granted 65 seats in the Legislative Council out of the 165 seats of Forces for Freedom and Change.
Meanwhile , A high-level source with from FFC told Darfur 24 that the party delegates at the central council meeting of the ruling coalition that took place Saturday, stipulated the exclusion of civil forces, Sudanese professionalsassociation and resistance committees from participating in the Legislative Council.
The National Umma Party announced that it had suspended its activities in the ruling coalition since last April, but it continued to participate in some of the Freedom and Change meetings.
