October 9, 2020 (El-Daein )Governor of East Darfur State, Mohamad Issa Aliyo, has ordered the release of all inmates convicted under the state’s emergency law.
Addressing the state’s peace signing ceremony in Al-Hurriya Square in El-Daein ,the capital of East Darfur ,Aliyo said his state is free of prisoners of conscience.
Aliyu said that the state government is working these days to implement a plan to create harmony between hereders and the farmers.
Mohamed issa declared his government’s endeavor to organize a state economic conference to discuss solutions to the economic crisis and smuggling issues in light of the resources that East Darfur State
enjoys in terms of oil, minerals, wealth and livestock.
