On Sunday,more than 522,000 students went to the general secondary examination halls in all states of the state, amid tight administrative and security arrangements implemented by the Ministry
of Education in coordination and cooperation with the regular forces to ensure that the exams reach the various centers.
In North Darfur, examinations began in all 229 state centers, including 12 centers in various camps for the displaced around the city of El Fasher, two centers in the Vetaberno administrative unit, and another center in Shala Federal Prison.
35,741 students sat for the exam this year in the state. Acting Governor of the State Hafez Bakhit rang the bell before the exams began at his El Fasher Model School for girls.
The governor expressed his hope that the results of the exam this year will be better than before, and he pointed to the exceptional conditions that the region witnessed, especially with regard to the
Corona pandemic, the natural conditions from torrents, floods and rain, as well as collapsing buildings.
