Ghubaish’s sit-in enters
August 28, 2020 -The sit-in organized by the citizens of Ghubaish, in
West Kordofan, has entered its  seventh day in a row.

The peaceful protesters are demanding  provision of services that the
area has been suffering from for years, such as water , electricity,
in addition to the national road that connects Ghubaish with the city
of Al-Nahud.

The authorities at the state or the center did not show any response
to the protesters ’demands, at a time when the people continued to
flow towards the sit-in square.

A member of the organizing committee of the sit-in, Hamdan
Abdel-Rahman Karnaka, told Darfur 24, that the sit-in would  continue
until the demands the protesters were met.

” The sit-in found a great response from residents  of the locality
who supported the protesters financially and morally from inside the
city and the neighboring villages” Hamdan concluded.
