Sudan sacks Foreign Ministry spokesman for his remarks regarding Sudan’s relations with Israel

August 19, 2020 (Khartoum)The Sudanese government has relieved the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Haider Badawi Sadiq, after his statements that support normalization of relations
with Israel.

The Sudanese ambassador’s statements broadcast by Sky News Arabia, have caused crisis inside Sudan and sparked widespread reactions at the regional and international levels.

According to the Sudan News Agency, Foreign Minister, Omar Qamar Al-Din Ismail, issued a decision today, Wednesday,  relieving Ambassador Haidar Badawi Sadiq from his position as official spokesman
for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Media Department,
