The Sudanese Professionals Association SPA, considered Council of Ministers sending of one its employees to receive the processions under the pretext that the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, was
busy, was unacceptable.
Today, the Resistance Committees in Khartoum State organized processions to the Council of Ministers, which coincides with the passage of a year since the signing of the constitutional document between the Forces for Freedom and Change and the Transitional Military Council.
The protesters, demanding the formation of the Legislative Council, the restructuring of the security services and the trial of symbols of the former regime, and those involved in breaking up the sit-in in
front of the army headquarters in Khartoum, in June 2019. In a statement received by Darfur24, SPA said police used excessive force to disperse the marches.
