July 31, 2020 -Armed groups have launched attacks on several areas in the Kass locality, west of South Darfur state. However, Darfur 24 was unable to know the losses caused by the attack, owing to deterioration of communication networks in those areas.
Sources from the city of Kass said that the attack took place in the early hours of Friday morning, just before the Eid prayer.
The sources said that the attack was due to a dispute over agricultural lands, Meanwhile, hundreds of residents of the city of Kass and IDPs from the camps located in the vicinity of the city took to the streets to protest against the attack.
Recently , there have upsurge of tribal violence between Falata and Taasha tribes in the disputed area of Magangari , that located between Amdafouk and Dimsu localities which fall under South Darfur
