July 8, 2020 (Khartoum) The southern Sudanese team, which mediates
peace talks between Sudanese transitional government and armed
struggle movements, has announced that  peace agreement between the
Sudanese parties, will be inked  within a week from now in the city of
Juba, the capital of the state of South Sudan.

However,  the government delegation to the peace negotiations, headed
by  member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Shamsuddin Kabashi
and Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) held a second negotiating
session  in the presence of , South Sudan mediation delegation, that
extended until the early hours of Tuesday, at  Rotana Hotel, to
discuss the six points presented by (SRF).

The special envoy of the President of South Sudan and head of the
mediation delegation, Tut Qalwak, said in press statements before his
departure to Juba on Tuesday,
“We convey through you greeting to the Sudanese people and tell him
that peace is coming soon, and   the peace agreement will be signed a
week from now in Juba”.

Qalwak stressed that the agreement is ready for signature  and that
delegations from both sides will meet this evening to resolve one
pending  issue, adding that he is confident , that it would not hinder
the signing  of  peace agreement  in Sudan.
“During my one week stay in Khartoum , I met with  head of the Sudan’s
sovereign council, Burhan and prime minster Hamdouk and we discussed
the peace files” Qalwak concluded ..
