July 1, 2020 (Khartoum) Minister of Culture and Information ,Faisal Mohamed Salih, said that the transitional government would begin on Wednesday, procedures for converting June 30 “million marches” demands into executive decisions.
In a televised address to Sudanese people, on the eve of the processions, Prime Minister, Abdallah Hamdouk, pledged to take drastic measures and decisions that meet the aspiration of the
Sudanese revolution within two weeks.
On Tuesday, a large crowd of Sudanese masses took to the streets in all the states of the country, in the processions of commemorating the June 30 “million marches” anniversary, and to correct mistakes of
the transitional period.
Faisal described the processions as great and wonderful, and that the ability to stick to the marches was a lesson to learn and benefit from.
“The judicial bodies will conduct a transparent investigation to determine the responsibilities and punish the perpetrators, regardless of their source” added Mohamed Salih.
“Our people in villages, hamlets and cities, your voice is one, your slogan is unified, your demands are unanimous, and your message is complete” further added minister of information.
The glorious December revolution overthrew the former regime ,led by the ousted Omar al-Bashir, and which ruled the country for thirty years, during which the people suffered from bad economic conditions,
wars and conflicts that engulfed majority of the country.
