Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the first evacuation
flights of Sudanese citizens stranded in Egypt leave for Khartoum
on Sunday , June 21 ,and will continue until June 30.
Thousands of Sudanese who are stranded in Egypt ,due to coronavirus
restrictions , are facing difficult conditions, however, most of them
went to Egypt to seek medical treatment.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Sudanese embassy in Cairo, Alsheikh sent
a letter to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to obtain
ratification by allowing an estimated number of Cairo-Khartoum flights
to help evacuate the stranded Sudanese citizens
According to Sudan’s embassy in Cairo priority will be given to
patients, and their families.
Alshiekh has called on the passengers travelling on first flights to
abide my preventive measures to the operation a success.
