June 18, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s Security and Defense Council approved on Wednesday, the recommendations of the Supreme Committee for Health Emergency, to extend the lockdown in its current form, from June 19 to June 29, 2020.
The decision to extend lockdown was taken in accordance with the deliberations of the workshop held by the committee to review and evaluate health emergency procedures, for the last period in terms of
their feasibility in containing the epidemic and limiting its spread and its social and economic effects.
The Supreme Committee for Health Emergencies called on various government and private sectors to prepare themselves for the next stage by preparing health directives for each authority, that they
review with the Ministry of Health for approval, such as commercial stores, factories, companies, ministries and various institutions.
