Sudan’s ministry of health announced 305 new coronavirus infections, raising total number to 7740 in the east African country since thepandemic emerged.
The national death toll stands at 477, since the killer disease first reported in the Country.
“100 patients have recovered , bringing total recovery to 2828 ” the ministry said in a statement.
Breakdown of the new cases shows that capital Khartoum has the highest number of infections with 240 cases, followed by Rive Nile 12 cases, North Kordofan 10 cases, Aljazeera 9 cases, White Nile 6 cases, Senar 7case, , Blue Nile 5 cases.
The ministry had earlier said that 90% of Coronavirus patients in the country were recorded in the capital, Khartoum, noting that the number of diagnosed cases and cases that have reached hospitals does
not exceed 10% of the total infections.
