Sudan reports 128 new coronavirus cases as hospitalization continue to decline

Sudan recorded 128 new cronavirus infections, rasing total number of
cases in the Esat African country to 7007since the pandemic first
emerged.

The epidemiological report of the Sudanese Ministry of Health
revealed, on Thursday, that new infections of the Coronavirus in the
country have decreased compared to the previous days.

“140 patients have recovered, lifting total number of recoveries to
2556” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry had earlier said that 90% of Coronavirus patients in the
country were recorded  in the capital, Khartoum, noting that the
number of diagnosed cases and cases that have reached hospitals does
not exceed 10% of the total infections.
A breakdown of the new confirmed cases, shows that Khartoum states has
the highest number with 66 infections, followed by Aljazeera State 24
cases ,White Nile 5, Blue Nile 2,  Northern State 4,  Red Sea 6,  one
case in East Kordofan.
In a related development, Sudania 24 channel, hosts at 8 pm tonight,
the Federal Minister of Health Dr. Akram Ali Al-Tom, to talk about the
issues of the medical condition alongside the  drug and the fight
against Coronavirus pandemic.

Health authorities  appealed to the citizens to comply with the
instructions of the Ministry of Health and to follow the preventive
measures.
