June 10, 2020- Sudan has recorded 155 new  coronavirus infections, lifting total number to  6582 since outbreak of the pandemic in the east African country.

“Twelve  people died on Monday from the killer pandemic, raising total number of death toll to 401” the ministry said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Health authorities said 75 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from isolation centers, raising total  number of recoveries to 2202.

The ministry had earlier said that 90% of Coronavirus patients in the country were recorded  in the capital, Khartoum, noting that the number of diagnosed cases and cases that have reached hospitals does
not exceed 10% of the total infections.
A breakdown of the new confirmed cases, shows that Khartoum states has the highest number with 88 infections, followed by Aljazeera State 19 cases , white Nile 8, River Nile4, Kassal 5, Algadari 4 and the Red
sea state 17.
Health authorities  appealed to the citizens to comply with the Ministry of Health guidelines and follow the preventive measures.
