Sudan’s ministry of health announced on Thursday 200 new case of the
respiratory disease caused by coronavirus known as COVID-19.
This brings total number of infections in the east African country to
4346 since the killer disease first emerged in Sudan.
Since the virus emerged in China last December, it has spread to
all countries of the world.
The global death toll from the novel coronavirus has exceeded 350,000
with more than 5.200.000 confirmed cases, while recoveries topping 2
million, according to a tally by the US’ Johns Hopkins University
