May 28, 2020 (Khartoum) Office of chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, announced today, Thursday, that chairman of the Sovereign Council has returned to the capital, Khartoum, after spending Eid Al-Fitr holiday in his hometown, in the state of the Nile River in the north of the country
Al-Burhan’s office, described the information circulated on social media, that the Sovereign Council chief had tested positive for cornavirus as sheer lies.
Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan’s office, confirmed on Thursday, that the head of Sudan’s Sovereign Council is in a good health, and has been exchanging congratulatory messages and
receiving phone calls from kings and presidents before and during Eid Al-Fitr.
“Al-Burhan, received phone calls from the American Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs and the American Special Envoy for Sudan. He also he received a phone call from Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, on Thursday expressing his condolences over the death of advisor Najwa Abbas” Aburhan office said in a statement .
