May 3, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudanese Transitional Cabinet has warned of
suspicious moves by political group, belonging to the regime of
former president, Albashir.
Members and supporters of the president who was toppled a year ago
in a nation-wide revolution, plan to organize a rally on Sunday.
However, elements of the ousted dictator ,Omar al-Bashir had
previously organized gatherings in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, the
last of which was in the beginning of the current month of Ramadan,
during which they demanded release of detainees from Kobber prison.
The moves come in light of the Sudanese government’s preoccupation
with Coronavirus disease, and harnessing all its capabilities in the
“battle” to keep its citizens safe.
In a statement issued on Sunday morning, seen by Darfur24, the
Council of Ministers ordered all security agencies to strictly and
decisively enforce the law against whoever violates the orders.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese transitional government ,stressed that the
security of the country and its population were a priority to the
state over any other consideration, and that preserving the health of
citizens is one of its precedence that would not be tolerated
