March 31, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday a new case of coronavirus, lifting the total number of infections in the country to seven.
The ministry confirmed in a press release ,extended to Darfur 24 that a man in his sixties who had arrived in Sudan from the United Arab Emirates on March 14 has tested positive for coronavirus.
Meanwhile , the Ministry of Health has appealed to citizens to expedite the reporting of suspected cases by calling the numbers 9090 or 221 from anywhere in Sudan while following all medical guidelines and advice such as stopping any gatherings and taking preventive measures that would protect themselves, their families and their relatives.
