March 24, 2020 (El-Geneina) Rapid Support Forces have continued their arrests campaign against leaders of Mahameed clan, from which the tribal leader, Musa Hilal, descends.
However, the number of arrests have reached 11, after two leaders were arrested in El-Geneina, West Darfur, on Monday, without explaining the reasons for their apprehension.

In a statement extended to Darfur 24, ther coordinator of nomads has denounced the arrests and described it as arbitrary and lacking legal justification.
“We are surprised by the arrests that have taken place in the States of Darfur, and we are calling on the authority to bring the detainees to a just and fair trial” concluded the coordinator.
