March 21, 2020 (Juba) Southern Sudan mediation team has announced a reduction in the number of Sudanese negotiators due to precautionary measures against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, the mediation team confirmed the continuation of negotiations at this critical time, based on guidelines that take into account the precautionary measures.
However, South Sudan has issued directives canceling gatherings as well as closing schools and universities to prevent infection of coronavirus.
leader of the Revolutionary Front, Nimr Abdel Rahman, told “Darfur 24” that the direct negotiations on the file of the security arrangements were postponed to Monday at the request of the government delegation, with a view to studying the paper presented by the Revolutionary Front.
