February 14, 2020( Elfashir) With tears and trilling cries of joy, villages in the locality of Malit, North Darfur, received the director of a humanitarian organization expelled by the Bashir regime from Sudan seventeen years ago.

British, Aid worker, Patricia Parker, director of “Sheep for Children” organization, arrived in the areas of Umm Jaal, and Al-Sayah, in the locality of Malit, North Darfur, to resume the organization’s humanitarian activity in the region.

Parker was welcomed with great joy from the tears-piercing citizens and women in the areas that were among the villages covered by the humanitarian support provided by the British NGO.

In 2009, the former Al-Bashir regime expelled more than 13 humanitarian organizations from Sudan, following the issuance by the International Criminal Court of an arrest warrant for al-Bashir on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur.

Representative of the INGO, Adam Sabeel, said Patricia Parker is still adopting the construction of 100 villages in Darfur, providing integrated services in the health field by building and rehabilitating health centers.

The organization also carries out many activities that benefit citizens, and the goat project is the main project as it gives five goats to each family to take advantage of its milk and meat and train families to preserve it.

The organization has already distributed 36 thousand sheep to the beneficiaries, and the total number of people receiving service reaches 550 thousand citizens from the targeted villages.
