Kordofan, November 27 (Darfur24)

At least four civilians were killed and several others injured on Tuesday when a drone strike targeted a crowded market in the city of Al-Nuhud, West Kordofan State.

Sources told Darfur24 that the attack struck a gathering of citizens inside Al-Qardaya Market, south of the city, killing three women and one man. The exact number of injured has not yet been confirmed, but witnesses reported multiple casualties.

Al-Qardaya Market is one of the largest and busiest markets in Al-Nuhud, and its role has expanded in recent months as instability forced the closure of the city’s main market.

The city, which has been under the control of the Rapid Support Forces since May, has witnessed repeated aerial bombardments, resulting in recurrent civilian deaths and injuries.
