Sources reported on Monday that military intelligence released detainees from the Emergency Committees during the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attack on the city of El Nuhood in West Kordofan State.
The sources told Darfur 24 that military intelligence released Khaled Adam Jadallah, Abu Talib Abdel Mutalib, Amer Farouk, and Asaad Al-Khair.
Pro-army mobilization forces arrested the volunteers in the city of El Nuhood last April, and the army released them during the attack on the city.
On Friday, the Rapid Support Forces took control of the city of the city after limited clashes on Thursday. The army then withdrew to its headquarters east of the city, before withdrawing at night to the city of Al-Khawa, and then to Al-Obeid in North Kordofan.
